//Scarlett Vivienne//
The desire to create and mold has guided Scarlett through various artistic endeavors eventually directing her to a career as a hairdresser. Growing up in Los Angeles, she was surrounded by musicians, artists and creative minds. She graduated with a degree in art history from UCLA before pursuing a career in the beauty world.
She founded the Austin hair salon and art gallery, Hearts & Robots Hair Studio in 2010 and was owner and senior stylist until the salon closed its doors at the end of 2017. After years managing a busy salon, Scarlett desired to connect one-on-one more with her clientele and work in a space free of the major toxins most salon products and services contain. This coupled with her desire to create natural and herbal based products in her free time motivated her to convert her former home garage into a clean organic salon studio and workshop.
Trained by top stylists at Avenue Five Institute, a Vidal Sassoon partner academy, Scarlett earned her Sassoon certification in 2010. She also holds various specialty certifications ranging from creative coloring techniques to curly hair cutting.
She works with low-ammonia haircolor lines, crafting specific formulas and shades for each client. Ammonia-free and PPD-free color is available for those looking to minimize damage or with scalp sensitivities.
Scarlett is a curly hair specialist (and naturally curly herself) who loves to work with textured hair. She sculpts, carves and defines curls using various tools and texturizing techniques.
She loves the look of hand painted coloring techniques, such as balayage and ombre. Easy, lived-in hair with an edgy flair is her signature style.
In the need of hair love? She offers intensive and therapeutic conditioning services as well as shine glosses to tired tresses.
Inspired by modernism, nature, alchemy, street fashion and eras ranging from sixties bohemian to nineties grunge.
